Although the United States has weathered its fair share of dark days, September 11, 2001 was one that changed the nation, and the world, forever.

Thousands of people lost their lives in the attacks on our country that day, making the eleventh of September a date Americans will never forget. On our 9/11 memorial tours, you’ll be able to learn more about the acts of bravery and selflessness displayed during those devastating actions against the American people.

On your customized 9/11 memorial walking tour, you will pay a visit to the official 9/11 memorial, “Reflecting Absence,” and hear orations of actual heroic acts that transpired amidst the horrific tragedy of that infamous day.

Above all else, New York City has remained a beacon of hope for the nation, and the spirit of the American people has never shined more brightly than in the days, weeks, and months following these attacks. You can experience that spirit for yourself on one of our unique New York City tours.

It’s important to note that the World Trade Center attacks site is no longer referred to as Ground Zero. This area will soon be home to five new towers to protect the 9/11 Memorial, transforming a spot associated with desolation and hatred into a place of rebirth and remembrance. The new One World Trade Center, nicknamed the Freedom Tower, was completed in 2014, and as of January 2017, three of the five new towers have been erected. Nothing quite encapsulates the ability of the American people to rise up and start anew quite so well as this building and the nearby memorial.

Your 9/11 memorial walking tour may stir up strong emotions; after all, these were events that impacted all of us in some shape or form. But by learning more about the personal stories of those who experienced the attacks and their aftermath and seeing the Ground Zero sites firsthand, we can continue to heal as a nation and connect with those around us.
